Awarded the Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree from the Medical Academy of Warsaw in 1991.

 

Completed a physician externship in Psychiatry with John Dempsey Hospital, University of Connecticut, Farmington CT and Department of Psychiatry, Hospital of Central Connecticut, focused on intervention in Substance Dependency, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Family Therapy, and Consulting Liaison in 1998.

 

Participated in Physician Extern education, lecturing on the medical aspects of alcoholism and cocaine abuse during relapse-prevention group, individual, and family sessions in 1998 and 1999.

 

As an extern physician in Family Practice at Brown University in 2006, focused on outpatient community based care of acute and chronic primary care and psychiatric illnesses from postpartum depression and attention deficit disorder to diabetes mellitus and somatoform disorders.

 

Completed Clinical Pastoral Residency at Saint Raphael Hospital Yale’s affiliated program in 2009, and received a Clinical Pastoral Certification.
